Internal Test Procedures
Firstly, select your calculator model from the table below. The table has three columns. The first column shows the list of HP Calculators. The second column shows the required keystroke sequences to run the internal tests. The third column shows the results displayed on your calculator.
If the internal test returns an error message, then please remove the batteries after a period of 48 hours replace the batteries with new ones and re-do the internal test. In the case that internal test returns an error message, please try to remove the batteries for about 48 hours. CAUTION! Removing the batteries will erase all data from your calculator and reset the calculator back to the factory settings!
If the problem persist after all of the above steps, please refer to the SERVICE section in the main menu and follow the instruction there.
