  • For a clutch operating dry the coefficient of friction will normally be in the range of 0.2 - 0.45.
  • For clutches running in oil the coefficient of friction will typically be in the range 0.08 to 0.15.
  • Typical lining pressures are:
Moulded materials and sintered metals 1 to 2
Cast iron 0.7 to 1.7
Cork 0.05 to 0.1
Note: Torques of less than 0.001 Nm will not be correctly displayed.
