What do you meant by almost actual size?

Unlike printed materials, web image size is controlled by the display you have. The image would look like its actual size if you have a 14" VGA display and set at 800 x 600 pixel resolution. If you have a higher resolution display unit, the images would be proportional smaller than the actual size.  For example, if you have the same 14" display and set at 1024 x 800 pixel resolution, the image would look about 25% small than the actual size.  That is what we meant by "almost".
