HP40gs to replace HP40g

HP40gs comes with a tinted protective plastic cover and runs on 4 x AAA batteries. Connectivity kit has a cable to connect to another HP40Gs or HP40G and an adapter to connect HP40gs to a Computer via either an USB or RS-232 port.  The 40gs runs 2 or 3 times faster than the older HP40g.  Also the new HP40gs comes with dual connectivity interface - USB & Serial.  The display for the HP40gs has a matt display whereas the HP40g was glossy and too reflective.

HP40g is classified as a Precision, Input mode Scientific, 12 BCD digits, exponent ±499, Algebraic. HP 40g is programmable using Algebraic version of RPL with high level language features (IF-THEN, FOR-NEXT, loops etc.). User-definable aplets. Performance is same as the HP39G. Memory 256kB, 234kB available to user with Permanent memory. Display 132x64 pixel black&white LCD, 22x8 characters.
