Selecting the HP 20b Operating Language

English is stored as the default language. To select a language other than English for messages on the display:

1. Press [Shift][Mode] to access the Mode menu. FIX= displays on the top line of the screen.
2. Press [Up Arrow] keyrepeatedly until English displays on the screen.
3. Press [Input] key until the desired language is displayed. The displayed language is the active setting.
4. Press [ON] key to return to the default calculator screen.
