hp 12c (platinum) - Handling Error Conditions

When I press g 1 or g 2 the display shows Error 2. How do I correct this.
Please explain. Thank-you.

g BEGIN RAD

I changed batteries on an old, dead HP,
its flashing above, and no keys work, i have tryed the (-) reset,, any ideas??
