I am intrigued by the popularity of the HP 12C financial calculator, but I have a question. I live in England where many business calculations relating to home loans, mortgages, and the APR from banks and building societies require markedly different calculation methods than those in the United States, even though the terminology describing the problems may be similar. This problem may well apply to the former British colonies of Hongkong and Singapore. How then can this calculator be comfortably used in these countries. Please enlighten me on this subject. Many thanks. Ferdinand Alvis
